The name ‘cadooz’ may sound English, but it is actually derived from the French word for gifts – ‘cadeaux’. For a German company conquering international markets with a multinational team, it is the perfect name. It embodies our mission of helping people to make someone’s day with innovative incentives and benefits – in Germany, Europe and throughout the world.

cadooz partners with major magazine publishers to provide gift cards for subscription promotions. This quickly gives rise to innovative solutions ranging from shopping, fuel and cinema gift cards to digital bonus programmes.

Palamon Capital Partners, L.P. becomes the main shareholder. In 2008, we acquired the experience provider yamando. The product portfolio is expanded to include emotive experience gift cards, marketed as benefits and incentives for employees, customers and partners.

cadooz rewards GmbH expands our range of solutions by acquiring the rewards business from PAYBACK, Europe’s largest bonus programme. cadooz becomes Germany’s first full-service provider for gift cards, rewards, experiences and incentives.

Stefan Grimm becomes Managing Director and for the first time, cadooz has over 100 employees. By introducing agile methods with Scrum and Kanban training, we accelerate our business and make the process from product development to market launch faster and more efficient.

cadooz is a founding member of the PVD, which represents the interests of the prepaid industry. Its goal is to promote the prepaid sector and help shape regulations. The PVD has links to political decision-makers, as well as various European and national authorities and associations. Through our work with the association, we stay up-to-date on important developments in the industry.
